'Lost in translation' has been having a jillion double meanings for me lately, as translation is the process by which RNA becomes proteins. I feel like I should relabel all my molecular Biology notes as such.
Heck, one of my pieces performed at Tuesday night's concert was entirely derived from the very same process of translation. "Found in Translation" would certainly have made a more concise title than "The Origin of Species Three Counterpoint: Three Hofstadterian Studies for Bassoon and Horn," and I still would have filled my quota of titular witticisms. Hooray for random phrases!
