LiveJournal exists

I was getting nostalgic for LiveJournal. My last non-private post was early 2009. I joined Facebook in 2008. This is obviously not a coincidence. But browsing around my friends journals, most of whom I don't remember, was pleasant. Quaint. It's like remembering you have a savings account that now has a few more dollars of accumulated interest

I still prefer LJ above all others. FB and Twitter hold somewhat different uses for me than LJ, although I suppose it's also true that LJ holds a different (but at least equal) value to me than it did when the party was hopping around here.

You're the only one of my former LiveJournal friends that's posted here since 2010, or since everyone joined Facebook. I think we need to bring it back. I like a forum where I can talk more openly since I actually KNOW only about three people on my friends list. What do you say?
