It's been nearly two months since my last update... sorry about that.. I'm currently sitting at Joey's computer waiting for him to get back from a meeting on campus. Of course I have lots of other things I could be doing right now, but I have a terrible headache and don't feel much like thinking

It's great to hear from you again. I haven't been LJ much over the summer except for a rant about my summer job towards the end. School started, and I haven't even had much time to breathe. Among the gazillion other things I'm doing this semester, I am a Latin tutor. I am going to use this experience to help me decide whether I can be a teacher or not and thus pursue a PhD program in classical studies.

I gave a presentation on my time at the Centro, and everyone really loved it. I was really surprised since I am not a good public speaker. Making the presentation was hard because I missed you guys so much. Sometimes when I am feeling stressed, I wish I was back in Rome. Oh well. Glad to hear you and Joey are good. Best of luck this semester :-)

medieval latin this semester! started with tertullian, going all the way to abelard and heloise. good times.

Awesome! I hope you're reading my man Macrobius. I did a medieval Latin class with Kenny in the fall of '02 and it was probably not as enjoyable as this one.
