“It’s almost like I never left Gotham.”

LOL. Bravo for a delightful story. Tam Fu was a wonderfully creepy villain, but even her ruthlessness wasn't enough to overcome the World's Finest. Loved it!

Oh I just ate this series up, didn't stop to comment until the very sweet and chewy end. I loved the simple manner you displayed Bruce and Clark's relationship and that the JLA is so not aware of it. Flash giving Clark sympathy for having to bunk with Batman was hysterical. Bruce being all protective and worried and possessive was sweet, in his own bat-like way. Your villian was great, I really appreciate villians with an agenda that does not actually have anything against the hero, it's just that either the hero is in the way or is a means to an end. Tam's cavilear use of Clark was creepy indeed. Best of all was Clark's heroism in the face of not having powers, shimmying down a tree like a teenager running off to be with friends! Facing up to Tam and company with nothing but a strange weapon adn the Bonanza reference was hysterical!!!
The best part was Bruce calling Clark Smallville at the end! Very touching.
Thank you for sharing this fic with us, I really liked it alot, alot-alot, for-realls!!!!! LOL

My mom is a huge Bonanza fan, so I had to put it in there, LOL.

Thank you so much, hon! *hugs*

OMG, powerless!Clark charging off to the rescue with nothing but a Superman costume and bluster learned from action movies and westerns? SO PERFECT.

Sighing, she hoists him over her shoulder and dumps him, without a modicum of gentleness, onto the hospital bed.

Awww, I kind of loved Diana here, and really felt for Kal as well.

“I don’t have time for this,” Clark snaps, striding forward, grabbing her by the shoulders, and pressing the gun to her temple, just like he’s seen it done in hundreds of action movies.

Clark’s glad his mother isn’t here to see him behaving like this. Psycho killer queen or not, Ma Kent would not have approved of her son holding a gun to a woman’s head. And then just...oh, all the bluffing and worry and feeling bad about acting like Clint Eastwood made me gurgle with glee, I loved it. Oh, and Tam Fu really was a very creepy super-villain, I liked her a lot! She really feels like a villain who might have been in the comic books at some point, I finished up the story and kind of wanted to go wiki her and ( ... )

Haha, oh gosh, I think that was my own guilt showing through in having put Clark in that position. I just kept thinking: A gun? OH GOD. What would Bruce say? What would Ma say? I'm so sorry, Clark, I don't see any other option.

Yay! I'm glad Tam Fu worked for you. I did try and make her comic!evil. In the long history of DC Comics, the World's Finest must have run into an evil alien vampire queen at some point, right? :D

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked it! <333
