I like that skirt a lot, and I particularly like the length: I love skirts that length, but they are currently hard to find! I suspect it's where your being slightly shorter than me is a significant advantage, because that's probably over the knee on me which is a very different look.

Oh, when I bought that skirt it was approaching mid-calf, which is a terrible length on me (and most people). I had it altered, which is something I do for more than 50% of the clothing I buy! Since discovering how much better garments look when they fit properly, I have resigned myself to paying a hefty alterations tax. You're not one for the tailor?
