What a wonderful story Tabby! I was getting all teary reading it. After having two less than desirable birth experiences, and two babies who had to stay in the NICU, I do alot of healing when reading about and rejoycing in birthstories such as yours. Thank you.

Wow, what a great birth story. I love reading other people's birth stories... helps me get a better idea of what to expect. :-)

Oh man, I that brought back memories! You did a great job and if you ever see that crappy nurse again, slap her. If your hospital mails you a questionaire fill it out and complain and be sure to tell your dr that you found her irritable and offensive (I had a nurse like that and my OB got an earful! I told him flat out that she would not take care of me if I ever went back to that hospital and was ready to ask for a new nurse if she walked in ( ... )

it sounds like once they broke your water, you were off to the races! mamawrites September 20 2002, 04:14:04 UTC
I'm amazed that you pushed him out so fast... pushing took forever for me with Julia.

That other nurse sounds like she didn't know what she was doing. I'm sorry she was so hard on you. It's great that you are already thinking about next time, and found a good CNM for that possibility!
