This is the greatest tool ever. Posted originally in lj-nifty, someone has written a tool that will go back and change the permissions of all your public entries to friends only for you. Here is a link to the post. I hope this helps other people like me who wanted their journals to be friends-only. You need java installed to run it, which you can get

once you've installed java, go to start>run> and type in command

I'm getting the "Exception in thread 'main' java.util.zip.ZipException: The system cannot find the file specified
at java.util.zip.ZipFile.open (native method)..." etc. error... i tried to rename it like you said, but it said bad command or filename...

I got off to a bad start right away; my computer didn't recognize the .jar extension. Suddenly, I feel VERY illiterate.

i cant run the file cos there's no program to.
