OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is incredibly amazing. I think post-apocalyptic distopia is your genre (remembering that Connor/Spike bit you wrote not too long ago). I love love love the descriptions in that first chapter--to paraphrase: stars like sugar on black velvet. Guh. That's so damn good. Such an interesting explanation for the apocalypse too. Illyria got her groove back. This hurts to read and I love you so much for writing it.
