Whoops, yes, I skipped a day. I was really, really, really zoned, so...best to just wait. Plus, it got super-chilly here again, after being up in the sixties, so i was kinda hibernating, heh.

And yeah, kindness is hard to talk about, I agree. Kindness should be the norm, not the anomaly.

Yeah, I think it is quite valid to say "I have done an act of kindness" and leave it there.

Eeee! Aftermath verse! I think we both know how I feel about Aftermath--though I effused under another name when it first went up.

I looked but may have overlooked--is Aftermath up on AO3? Ne'mind, I found it. Eeee! Time for a re-read!
