WTH, climate?

Tell me about it! I haven't seen any Redwings this year, and there's usually loads; and things keep flowering all the year round, it must be exhausting.

It's beyond bizarre. We have a decorative lantern on the front porch, hung up, and a pair of finches built a nest in it about five years ago, and at first they would just do a sitting of eggs, but after a year or so, they do *two* every year, and this past year, I swear she was trying to lay eggs in November.

It's just...wrong.

It was in the 60's here yesterday so we went for a hike. I really appreciate a break in the gloomy, grey, freezing weather.
