Hey!

I finally got the physical stuff in the mail from Direct Relief International! I admit being a bit disappointed in the Tribute Card (aesthetically speaking). It was a simple greeting card with a bare bones fill-in-the-blank wording inside. I was expecting something more fancy and "certificate-y". LOL But I pulled some images off the DRI ( Read more... )

1. = well done! the frame for the card and the letter DO look fancy now!! :)

2.: LOL! Shipping in USA - a never ending story!... sounds very familiar... *grins*-remember your map?
Are you really sure they aren´t still working with stage coaches (which actually have got stuck in snow, perhaps??)

...(uuhhh, 5 degrees, that´s -15 in celsius.... brrr, that´s cold!) :)

2) Actually I think our shipping is still the Pony Express. With a lame donkey. In the snow.

But this is over water, so I don't even know... A raft? That's leaking? And too small so the packages keep tumbling overboard?

I get so excited at every new thing you post & each part of this that I get to see. It really brings it home, you know?-to those of us "playing at home." LOL I just get a big grin on my face that hurts my cheeks after many minutes and I sit here and almost literally hop up & down in my chair. I think I actually hugged myself a little while ago (the cat gets tired of it, you know ;) ) out of pure joy!

The card looks great; you did an awesome job of it! Seeing her name written there, even if just informally inked in, just brings it all home & makes it so real and personal. SO COOL. And for just one moment I had a little tingle where I swear I think I felt just how she's gonnal feel.

It's gonna be GREAT, beebe!

Really?? So they're not just picking on us? *sortajoking*

I mean, unless a dog sniffs drugs/explosives, shouldn't they just wave it on through (with the occasional spot check?) Dunno. I'd be mad if I was the Seller paying for Express Mail and getting this...
