So I was out pruning my grapevines for the winter and I got a brilliant idea. I picked up some fake flowers from Goodwill and made a holiday wreath. I'm happy with it for the first time I made a grapevine wreath.
Maybe next year I will have to sell them. Unfortunately I only get enough for two wreaths from the vines I have. It's awesome to hear that it is good. It was really an experiment. I had no idea what I was doing. XD
I've noticed in my experimenting, some really amazing crafting pieces have been born. My friends here have seen stuff I've made and said I should sell them.
The best thing about grapevines is you can use everything. My mom used to have them. She would make wine and jelly and would use the vines to make wreaths too. I remember as a kid just loving the smell of fresh grapes as soon as I would walk outside.
I don't know if you're a ribbon kinda girl, but it helps fill them out so you don't have to use up all your flowers if you decide to make them to sell. Also, old xmas bulb ornaments work nice too.
I thought about that but I really like fruit on my wreaths. Just a weird quirk LOL But if I was going to sell/give them I would definitely think about ribbon.

You can eat the leaves as well. :) I love the smell of fresh grapes. I only wish we had room for more.
