Finnnalllly posting some stuffs
Hey all, I done sewed me up some new clothes.
I'm pants at remembering to take before pics, so there aren't any. Sorry.
This is the one I'm most proud of. The bodice of the dress is a toddler's t-shirt I got at the thrift store for like $.25, and the rest of the dress is blue jersey I got from G Street, Queen of Fabric Stores for...okay, I can't remember, but it was hella cheap. The octopus on the skirt is just freehand embroidery.

And here are two other little surgeries. I ruched the sides and chopped off most of the sleeve on the Coke shirt, and made teensy puff sleeves on the NC tee. (It's a little hard to see in this photo, but it's cute IRL, promise.) I got both of these shirts for $.50 at the thrift store. I adore the NC one; it's so Colbert Report it makes me giggle.
