I am curious! Also yes I have read The Lessons. Though some things bugged me it's really good, especially for a work based on a plotless game. Change a few details, and she'd have a publishable story.

Hee, thanks! What were the things that bothered you? I read it too fast to notice anything other than the characters and overall plot. Doesn't help that I haven't read a long fic/book/article/ANYTHING in a while, so I guess I was like, "zomg!!!! WURDS DAT TELL MEH A STORIEEEEEE AHHHHHH"

Something about the prose itself, IIRC? I found it weird that Scout would write so eloquently (even if he was telling the story years down the road). It just threw me out of the world the story was trying to build. But I am super-picky in the stories I like so it's probably nothing that'd be major to another person.
