That law is fucked up.

My last name is doofy as hell (and German), and we wouldn't change it no fucking way for anyone to be able to pronounce it more easily/spell it at all.

Well, it wasn't really an officially proposed law, more like an offhanded comment type thing, I think, which makes it equally as insulting, if not more. She seems to be forgetting that America isn't entirely made up of white people, and that most are literate.
