Rainy day at home on the island

I'm home. Home for a while. I've been working on all the things I fell behind on whilst engaged in my various recent excursions. I even got to the vaccuuming yesterday. Mr. M. is in town doing errands and it's raining so I'm indoors with the critters cooking and catching up on the cottage. Making meatz broth is perhaps not ambitious enuf to

Yay! Sekrit fancy tasty. I'll be over on Galiano Friday or Saturday for sure as those are the recycling/market/gas/thrift store days this time of year. Thankee!
I am having another day of knitting in the cottage to the sound of rain on the roof. Tonight we are having roast chickie a la Ratness. It's not a bad day to be chez Acken. ;-)
I am waiting with great anticipation to see the next round of yr dying.
