There was a place in the caves, a bomb like shelter chamber that had taken weeks to clear of rocks and debri. The one place that all 45 members of our 'large' community could gather round a keg and get their party on. Okay, not really...it was more of a meeting room, a big and rocky room that Naeva had begged me go check out while babbling about books and brains. If I found a book...I was gonna brain something alright, preferably him for waking me up in the middle of some of the best sleep I had gotten for days. Now say...I had been having sex, I could forgive him for disturbing me, but sleep was harder to get than sex these days...I had my priorities. As my eyes adjusted to the darkness, I saw that it was Xander. I was frozen in place when he hugged me, although I remembered a time when I would have (even when I was fully clothed). Instead, I returned the hug. I never thought I'd see him again, or any of my friends, for that matter. On hearing the 'hairy' comment, I had to suppress a chuckle. Still the same old Xander.

"Xander... what happened?" I asked softly. "Did you resurrect me?"

It was Giles, living breathing Giles. And he had all his guts still in him too. Which was a plus. I realized I was clinging to the man, no wait..the naked man. I backed up a bit and then hugged him again. "You died and then then the whole world went to hell and everybody died and then this little gay guy who looked like a girl, I'm talking curves, long hair, and all, he woke me up and he sees things and shit to make a long story short everybody is still living and everybody is perfectly beautiful and we have to eat berries and grain and-" I paused. I was babbling, I hadn't babbled in years, and it actually felt good.

"Oh no, big no on the resurrecting front, mojo and me do not mix but I think Nav might have some more info." I moved to throw and arm over Giles's shoulder. "You're alive...last time I saw you...you were wearing your guts for skin..." Continuing to babble about nothing and yet everything I led the G-man towards the living area of the caves, a small crowd of pale and curious people starting to gather.

It was wonderful to listen to the young man babble again. Just like the old times
