This is a 300-words ficlet for wihluta, a reward for being a good girl and going home to study yesterday night. I was a good girl, too, Wih. You owe me a ficlet! ;D

This kinda developed from a prompt elicia8 gave me. It doesn't have anything to do with the prompt anymore though. I don't know, I began thinking about it... and this is what I ended up with. Heh. I ( Read more... )

People whose have a "system" to their mess always amuse me. *g* An interesting switch-up on the typical take of a House&Wilson living arrangement-and I could very easily see it playing out like this too. (Angst is not necessarily more in-character just because it's angst, and I'm glad this was light-hearted.)

I totally have a system to my mess. My mess is enormous, but it's very true that I really usually don't find my stuff after cleaning up, not before. I think I conditioned my brain into remembering where I put stuff when the mess is big, but when there is no mess, it sees no need to remember that sort of stuff.

Or something. Lol.

I'm glad you enjoyed! Thanks for leaving feedback :).

I really like the little quirks such as House's habits being less annoying than those of the women Wilson's lived with (I shouldn't be so interested in this part!) and the battle of wills--that felt completely spot-on. Additionally, the mess-with-a-system? Of course it makes sense! I can never find anything after I've been made to put it away, so I can totally identify with that.

Lol, yes, I need my mess. I feel uncomfortable after having cleaned my place *gg*.

Thanks for commenting! I really think House would be easy to love with. At least you know what you can and can't expect ;).

lololo that is an awesome typo.

At the very least, you make it sound easy. And I forgot to mention, I love the ending. So that's how he manages to stay fit (...) while House steals all his food!

LOL I always make that typo. Usually catch myself before posting though. Had to happen one of these days that I don't *gg*.

Lol yes, and that's how Cuddy manages to stay as skinny as she is ^^.
