I know maybe two people in SPN fandom, and one of them I know would disown me for playing Castiel. (And having killed Dean and Sam off in his backstory. >_> Oops?)

Lol surely you're not talking about me ;P

But I would only disown you for SHIPPING Castiel with one of the Winchesters***, not for killing them and....making Castiel doubt his God. THAT sounds awesome :D

***I wouldn't do that either, honestly, you're certainly allowed to like what you like :)

Nah, I'm not shipping him. I am very sure he is still a virgin, and his Winchester brothers are dead. So, no shipping. Yay? ;) Although I do think that he had some sort of platonic crush thing going on with Dean--but I have a feeling that it was both unrequited and momentary, at least in my RP!Castiel!muse's case.

making Castiel doubt his God. THAT sounds awesome :D
It does, doesn't it? I think I'm just not really interested in either Dean or Sam--and am only interested in Castiel as a character I can deconstruct and use to prove, once again, that blind faith is stupid. Which, in this case, will include making him doubt his God. A lot.

Anyway, fwiw, I'm glad I'm not being disowned. ;) Really, I don't want Castiel to come between Dean and Sam. Nor do I want to absolve him and declare him infallible. The opposite, really. As I've told you before, I don't think that any of those three characters are in any way right about any of the things they believe. I just happen to find Castiel the most interesting in the ways he is wrong.

Lol, I'm not going out of my way to friend people who like Castiel or Dean/Castiel, but if someone on my flist who I know pretty well starts to like one or the other (or both) I just quietly click on by. I WILL NOT BE ONE OF THOSE FANS :/

BUT THIS: and am only interested in Castiel as a character I can deconstruct and use to prove, once again, that blind faith is stupid. Which, in this case, will include making him doubt his God. A lot. AND THIS: I just happen to find Castiel the most interesting in the ways he is wrong.
is why I LOVE YOU. If only all Castiel fans were so sadistic /o\

I think Sam is right about SOME of the things he believes, but it does him very little personal good, which I also think is very realistic, if incredibly depressing. IDK if I think Dean is right about anything he believes, because he's kinda turned into an asshole and the show overall doesn't seem to know how to REALISTICALLY characterize him (as every writer has his/her own Mary-Sue version of him), and ( ... )

Well, so far, I'm only RPing him, and I keep most things RP off this journal and in my muse journals, anyway. But if you want to watch me being sadistic and hurt him, then you'll probably get something to watch. All my muses get hurt a lot. I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE.

See, I think all three of them are right about some stuff, but it does all of them very little personal good. It's true, Sam is probably the least deluded. And Cas is the most. Which makes him the most interesting, because there's a lot to deconstruct. \o/

. . . I am a sadistic ass. Fear for your life, Castiel. Mwahahaha.

. . . Stuff? What Stuff? TELL ME ALL. *. . . is an ass*

And, hell, Cas replacing Ten on the desktop? That's pretty hardcore. Granted, that is a very pretty Cas graphic. Wings \o/

Cas is going to have to be ground down a lot before he starts to develop his own distinct personality, I think. As it is, he's stubborn and focused and easily wrongfooted (which Ashlar thinks is great, but pretty damned useless). h!Master would probably end up fairly close to him-a) he can fuck with him, b) he doesn't mind moping over Past Glory (it's fun to mope, Doctor B|), and c) they've both had the whole fall experience. It would be a bit demon/angel post-fall bonding.

Who gets to get him laid? This is an Important Question.

What Stuff? TELL ME ALL.
B| (I'm just gonna do this now whenever I don't want to answer something. I SHALL PRETEND TO BE CASTIEL AND GLARE AT YOU. Wooh?)

It is a very pretty Cas graphic. I may make use of the random desktop generator that Win7 offers and stick Cas and Ten into it and make Win7 randomly give me either Ten or Cas. I should find a Spike graphic to put in there as well. And a Logan graphic.

It would be a bit demon/angel post-fall bonding.
Yup. Also, Castiel knows how to kill, and he doesn't really have a set of morals, not if he realizes that he has to find his own now that he's human. So really, the Master could shape him into whatever he wants him to be. Or he could try. I think Castiel won't stop being religious, though. He'll just change his attitude.

But I think he does need someone to actually help him, too. Like, you know, human!Ten. I was thinking, I don't think angels cry. So crying would be new, to him. That should be interesting.

Who gets to get him laid?Heeee. Whoever gets there first! I don't know yet. I ( ... )

. . . I just want to make a nice, bookish, mentory muse, now. Like a Giles or something. Poor Cas.

Aw, Cas and Giles. That would be cute. They could be awkward and geeky and bookish together. :3

I guess it's stupid to ask "Who is Castiel"?
But you know me. I'm this way.
You are righ tabout the christmas present parts during mid July. I'm always forget what I wanted to buy for someone but during the whole year I've great ideas *lol* At least I think they are great (for *hm, let me think about it at least 5 minutes).

Hee, Castiel is a character from the show Supernatural. He is an angel of the Lord. He's a very silly character.

Yeah, I know. I'm always like OH LOOK THIS WOULD MAKE AN AWESOME PRESENT FOR PERSON X, but then it's mid-June and I figure I'll save money now and buy it on Christmas, and by the time Christmas comes around I've forgotten what it was. GO ME.

I just buy presents during the year and give them anyway when I feel like it. I still give some at Christmas as well, mostly... but I do get the sentiment and I agree.

*hopes the 21st thing works out*

*does not even go there on the XMen part of this post* LALALALALAA!

PS: If you end up in SPN I might have to disown you. THEY ARE CRAZIES!!! ;)

SPN is shiny, though. The show is so stupid! It needs fixing. :3

And yeah, I should do that. Just buy presents over the year and keep them until Christmas and give them away then. But I'm not organized enough for that. >_>

Seriously, those movies were horrible. Although I do still like the Wolverine movie.

Well, I just give the presents away when I buy them. I don't like waiting. lol

Fix away, then! ;D

I never saw any of the Xmen movies. And, by the way, I ALSO never saw 'Inglorious Basterds' yet. Hence my lack of opinion (you know, I promised you my opinion, and since we are talking about movies, I mention it).

Right! You said you were gonna go see it. Well, you still should--not just to give me your opinion, even though I would like to hear it, but also because it's a movie that's worth watching. Other than the X-Men movies. >_>

I think I'll get it on DVD when it comes out. I won't forget to give you my opinion once I saw it!!
