You know I suggested this a joke xD I never actually thought you'd write it but I'm glad you did. This really is awesome. The Masters female regeneration is fun, and I think written perfectly in charictor for him.

I adore the last line, because it's very very true.

I loved this, Thank you!

(p.s 4,300 words o.o I have no clue how you manage to write that much of anything)

Your lack of faith in me, it's disheartening. *ahem*

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it! And oi, I thought you were writing longish fic about Romana?

"Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it! And oi, I thought you were writing longish fic about Romana?" - I am, but your going to make me cut so much of it I'll have like 600 words left xD

It's good to read a scene where a woman (or, well, a person with a female body) is able to take strong control of a sexual situation without having to do the whole dominatrix or vamp routine.

I wonder what's behind your choice to keep the male pronoun? I liked it, as it plays to a fluid sense of gender-the Master is the Master, regardless of sex and why change how one names a person if the person hasn't changed? But I don't know if that was your intention or not.

this man he has known for so long who is now trapped in a woman's body
This line jarred a bit for me, as the Master didn't seem trapped-in fact, that seemed to be the point of much of the fic. He's as much the Master when he's "outfitted" with a female body as when he is with a male one.

What you said. Sex and gender are two different things, and just because the Master changed his sex, it doesn't mean he changed his gender. He's still male.

He's as much the Master when he's "outfitted" with a female body as when he is with a male one.
Hm, yes. But it is a difference, because he's not a woman. He's a guy, and he's in a female body now, and the two things don't necessarily fit. "Trapped" may have been a bit of a strong word choice, but I did want it to come across as something that could be an inconvenience. It's part of what the Master is making the Doctor help him find out.

I like how it doesn't get into fetishising the novelty of his/her body, they just go on like they always do. It seems very them.

Yeah... they've known each other for centuries; I couldn't imagine the sex of the partner mattering too much. Good to hear that it worked for you. :)

Okay: (1) Hot. (2) Master finding he likes his new body --- Excellent. Very Steven Moffatt/Curse of the Fatal Death. (3) Master as tease. Good, because he so would be. (4) Master still in control, even when he's doing outwardly sub-ish things --- very nicely in character. (5) Doctor thinking of him as still "him" and seeing the Master he's always known, even with all the differences --- That's quite touching, actually. Harkens back Three describing how the Master had been his friend to Jo for me.

Nice fic! I like it and I like the idea to switch a body. It's - hm, let me say with your words - an impressive fic. Thanks for sharing.
