Role playing is eating my life. Of the last 36 hours, I've spent only about three on sleeping. Naturally, those were the hours that LJ was down. Lol. I think the whole population of LJ fandom was asleep during the server move; I've read it about three or four times on the f-list already ( Read more... )

So I wish you for the next three years that your time there will be how you like it. One question: Do you spend the christmas time at home by your family?

Yeah, I'll be home from the 24th - 31st. Which means that I will miss the Christmas Special. Woez! But then, it'll be nice to see the family again. Now that I've been away for a while, I am starting to kinda miss them a little.

Yeah a little distance sometimes has good consequences.
So if you want me to send you a christmas card please let me know the adress. You don't have to, you know. It's just this year I want to write christmas cards (for my first time in my whole (long, long) life).

I found my first year at uni rather relaxing, I have to admit. And I think the other two years are what you make of it. I spent my first term playing games like 'British Bulldog' and so on, because apparently theatre people (I studied Theatre and Performing Arts and Media Arts) need to really get to know each other...
I spent a lot of time reading up on theatre theory, because I was the only one who hadn't studied theatre or drama before. Everybody else had taken drama A-levels or National Diploma or something like that.

Enjoy it! I wish I could do it all over again. Damn, I miss uni.

I guess the whole thing is what you make of it. The marks from my first year don't add to my final degree, which kinda makes me care less than I probably should, lol. But it's not a bad idea, really, because it lets you get into the swing of things. So far, uni is turning out quite enjoyable.

Aww, you can do it! But yeah, I know what you mean. I suspect it's not gonna be as easy once they actually start to put us to work.

I had the complete opposite experience: first year at uni was hellish, and students dropped like flies left, right and centre, next 4 years were pure bliss.
