Who else wishes that they'll finally announce Eleven on CIN, so the constant posts of 'oh look, I found another dodgy newspaper that's announcing Random Actor #1227 as the new Doctor' at doctorwho will stop?

I still want Paterson Joseph. I acquired Neverwhere and will watch it and hopefully be just as convinced of him afterwards, because I want to like him ( Read more... )

If it helps, nano gets a lot more exciting towards the end, for almost everyone. At the beginning it's fun. Then there's a bit of a slog in the middle where you're tired of writing and tired of your story and everything just sucks. And THEN comes the exciting part at the end, where other people have dropped like flies but you're still going, you're getting closer to the end of your fic in leaps and bounds, and you can see that you're going to make it if you just stick it out a little bit longer, and you're just really proud of yourself.

People have already dropped like flies, lol. The nano site was so slow in the beginning; it's a lot faster now. But yeah, I get what you mean, and I'm sure you're right. I want to stick with it; it's just that, you know... prison camp? Plz? xD

I agree- I'm so sick of the "Who is going to be next?" over on the community, but when they do announce it, all we'll get is rants about who they've cast - sadly it'll never end. I'm tempted to dump the community.

I don't think they will announce the new Who on CiN. I just think Terry Wogan meant that they are showing a 2 minute preview of "The Next Doctor".

Good luck with the writing - I feel your pain! (Trying to write a feature film, 17 pages down, 70 to go!)

I'm not gonna drop the comm - I kept it on the f-list all throughout season 4 and the craziness of the finale; I can take a small fantasy casting frenzy - but yeah. It's time they announced him, so people can get the bitching out of their system and can return to loving the show.

I agree, though; they're probably not going to any time soon. Sigh.

Wooh, go you! See, I'm not even writing original fic. I'm just so bad with sticking with one thing for longer than - two days? Lol.

No one understands me as an ~*artist*~. Waaah waaah waaambulance You had me in stitches with this, ha! Poor you... don't cut off your ear though. When reading this I realised this is why I didn't sign up for NaNo (this, and my material not being good enough, to be honest!)... I am better with short stuff, and I tend to get bored and/or distracted with long WIP's. My longest WIP is now over 70 pages (in Word) and I just lost interest. It's not even that I don't know what will happen next, I just don't feel like writing it down, as other things now clamour for my attention. It's sad.

Those pictures are adorable!

No, both ears still firmly attached. They'll stay that way, no worries xD.

I knew that I'd probably get bored with this fic sooner rather than later. This is how it took me 8 months to write 12,000 words of House/DW x-over: I'd write a bit, then get bored, leave it lying around for months, and then pick it up again. It annoys me that I do this, though, so I want to try and, you know, not do it. Lol. Idk if I'll be successful though.

Glad to hear your ears are safe!

I hope you keep it up. I'd like to know where you're taking the story! I'll cheer you on, okay? *cheers*
