D: I hate it. House has been doing it off and on for two season. It's not very fair. :/

I'm downloading the episode now (my quote for the week, lol). This is a Fox-run show, I know there will be letdown at the end of things, and even on the way there, but damn if the preview for the new ep didn't make me yearn for the days of cohabitation and detox by proxy.

It's more that it sucks, and sucks, and sucks, and just when you've decided that it might actually be time to drop it, it throws you a bone. It knows exactly how to keep the fangirls hanging on. :/

I'm with Doctor Who now. Please accept that

*sporfles* That's a good way to put it. "You know we can't really just be friends, right? I should've known this was a bad idea."

Confession: I haven't watched any of it. Nope. I was afraid it would suck me in hardcore while I'm trying to keep my head above water at school, so I haven't been watching. I'll probably catch up eventually, but yeah. Don't have a clue what's going on.

I'm not even terribly motivated to watch it, after the end of last season tore my heart right out. It's sort of like...it might be anti-climatic now.

It is SUCH a bad idea to try to stay friends with a fandom that you left. It will only end in tears and heartbreak, especially when the show is still airing.

Don't watch it! Seriously, don't. The first few episodes are sort of okay, but boring, and this one just hits the exact House/Wilson shipper kinks so it keeps you hanging on even though you know it's a bad idea.

Oh, how I miss the weekly DW fixes. DW, that's an honest show - it rarely disappoints. Sad that it's around so rarely.

Poor you! *pets* I'm not up to date with the newest ep either, but so far I'm not hating is much as my brother - he's a big Wilson fan, go figure *g* - but I can sorta see your point. The last two and a half seasons were more up-and-down in quality than a really bad rollercoaster ride. And when I found out the prospect of the PI getting his own spin-off show, well that killed all romance I had for his character (paired with House, natch! I like'm pretty, what can I say *g*) - no use getting emotionally invested if he's not gonna stick around for good, right? (Also, I'm just blabbing outta my ear here, no idea about the newest ep(s), so prettyplease no spoilers? Anything else is more than fine. Pinky swear! *g*)

Lol, but Wilson is still around. Slimmer than in season 4 (I approve) and wearing snazzy black suits (I approve even more).

What, what, the PI is getting a spin-off? Wtf? How did I miss that? I didn't really like him - he was okay, but he was such an obvious replacement for Wilson that he was less of a character and more of a negative of a character, which was just weird.

I actually found a link to a news article about that in the actor's wiki entry - it says next to nothing about the new show, other than that he'll be playing the same character and that the new show will not be related to 'House MD'.

LOL, Wilson slimming down and wearing good suits, House walking around with a DEAD RAT on his head (while watching the first few eps of the new season I was yelling at the screen and making my brother *actually giggle* with stuff like "There it is again! The dead rat! Did you see it? Ack, there it went again! It's a rat, an ugly dead rat - House, watch out, it's stuck to your head!") because I was actually enjoying HL's bald spot getting the odd showing or two in the last seasons, even if the cameras did tend to pan out frequently right before it got into viewing range. So the addition of the new Rat Rug(TM) is cause for hilarity - and offense - all on its own. ;-)
