SG-1

Since SGA seems to have gone on a mid-season break (just my luck, getting myself hooked on a live series which goes on break the minute I'm done catching up with the episodes), I started on SG-1.
My thoughts on SG-1 )

tv: sg-1

The Stargate film deals solely with Ra, and the notion that there are other aliens/transplanted humans other than those on Abydos (like, for example, Apophis, Teal'c and Apophis' planet, the name of which escapes me right now *hangs head in shame*) is first raised in the pilot episode of "SG-1". With Teal'c, I'm fairly sure the idea is that we're supposed to interpret the stoic look on his face throughout his first few scenes as repressed hatred/disabusement with Apophis and the system he has going. Either way, his life before leaving the palace with O'Neill (and the others) is dealt with over the next few seasons ( ... )

Oh right: DHD actually stands for Dial Home Device? That is just so cool :P Daniel may name as many things as he wants, as far as I'm concerned...

hehe... and...

CHULAK!!

Teal'c's homeworld is called Chulak... and I should have known that off the top of my head... bad TLI, very bad TLI...

I'm not saying Carter/O'Neill would be a good pairing, I just liked the locker room scene ;).
I liked it too, although too many people writing SG-1 fic have read far too much into it for my liking. Then again, I have a tendency not to notice any pairings onscreen, either het or slash, until I've got my hands on either fanfic or music videos. The only exception to date is Jack/Ianto from Torchwood, but only because it's so bloody obvious!!! (That, and they've kissed on screen. Yay Russell T. Davies ;) )

Ahem.

Ahh, I miss Ford. Before he became the druggy, whacked out version of himself, that is. I actually liked the sound of "Atlantica", too... ;)
