Go download and read this, and buy it maybe too. This book, Little Brother by Cory Doctorow is incredibly awesome. If you hunt for it in a bookstore, look in the Young Adult section. That seems to be where all the best subversive literature ends up these days.

Which book?

Doctorow's style is sometimes aggressively trendy, like in Little Brother. He makes up for it by carrying interesting themes into interesting places. Even so, that hasn't stopped me from reading most everything he's done.
