I'm not really sure what spurred it...it wasn't really a "spurred" decision, more like a "I have been considering doing this for a really long time and I finally have the guts to do it" decision. I was SO sick of my long hair, it was over-dyed, it took forever to dry and to brush, it was giving me headaches when it was pulled back, and also, Max (and my cats, which aren't really a problem at school, but still) would roll onto it at night and it would pull on it and hurt. I'm much happier with this, it is so fucking low-maintenance it's not even funny. I don't have to DO anything to it and it looks fine. But sometimes I look like some sort of short 80s glamour girl. Which isn't a bad thing, really. And sometimes I look like a hipster. But I guess, since I go to Hampshire, I kind of AM a hipster, so whatever. I love it. :)
