So this show was supposed to start at 6:00... and I thought the doors would open at five, but since it's not that popular of a band I didn't figure there would be a lineup, so I got there at five. They did not let us in until 7:00! I had to sit on a concrete step for two hours. But it was worth it. Only ONE girl showed up before me, so I was at ( Read more... )

psh, you can have nipple ring man... and AHC. I doubt they're as good without many of the original members! Okay, maybe they are.

They still kick ass and you know it! They still have their original drummer, and he is the best one. I did like their other vocalist better, though.

Last I checked, they kicked out the original drummer awhile ago and the founding member (the singer) was definitely still in the band. You sure you saw AHC???

I've heard they're amazing live, too, but I don't really like Muse enough to spend 40 bucks on a ticket.

Well you should, dammit! Hell, some concerts might make you a fan of the band. The NIN show I went to, I left there liking some of their songs a lot more. (see Terrible Lie and Sin)

I just don't really like going to shows without any bands I really really like, 'cause I just don't have a good time. Especially at a big venue like that, I wouldn't even be able to see anything. And NIN is one of those rare bands that're actually BETTER live that on their CDs. Though from what I've heard, Muse might be, too.

Besides, I'm not exactly ROLLING in dough, and I might need that 40 bucks for Rockfest this year, even though it doesn't look that great: http://www.kufo.com/pages/600257.php I think I might go anyway and hang around the local stage, and just wander over to the main stage for Chevelle and Incubus.
