A little less wisdom

Well, I just got back from the dentist, who removed my two left wisdom teeth. So now I'm sitting here, holding a cool pack to my cheek. And what do I do? I go on YouTube and watch the Dentist song from Little Shop of Horror.

You have my sympathies. Removing my wisdom teeth ranks among the least pleasant experiences of my life. ^_^;

Yeah, especially the upper one was a pain in the ass to get out, took around 20 minutes. The other one pretty much popped out with no problems.

Oh, you poor kid. I hear it hurts like a mother gettin those suckers out. My friend had it done and her jaw was all bruised and swollen.

Well, my cheek is swollen, but otherwise I'm fine with some pain killers. It's just annoying that I can't eat anything that isn't soft because I can't open my mouth wide enough to bite or chew. Getting them out was only a problem with the upper one, because it had grown diagonally and the dentist couldn't get a grip on it. The lower one was a piece of cake, took less than 3 minutes.

Yikes. I know how that feels. I had my left wisdom teeth removed when I was 17 and since there was no room in my mouth for them, I had to have oral surgery and be put under so the dentist could cut into my gums and get them out.

And Little Shop is one of my favorite musicals. Listening to the soundtrack, including "Dentist" would have made my experience a lot more pleasant. :oP
