I like to theorize as much as the next person, but please get real and stop trying to analyze something deep, profound and meaningful into every single pixel. Sometimes stuff is just there because it looks cool.

Once I read a theory about Maria, when she's upside down and captive by the two PH's, her eye sockets are hollow. There was a theory about how this was a symbol of how she was just a hollow shell, and not real. There was another theory about how it was a result of graphic engine limitations. I subscribe to the second theory myself.

Exactly, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. There is for example no real reason behind the dead body that kinda looks like Angela in the beginning of SH3. It's either coincidence or the programmers were lazy that day.

Oooo, shiny meme! *robs*

No wai about Ninja turtles, though. My reactions went:

OMGWTFBBQ there's a female turtle now???!!!! D: D: D:

and

But..but..the new ones SUCK. I was never the biggest fan of the movies in general, but I was quite dissappointed in the newest one. As for the cartoons - I saw a few eps. of the new "xtreme!!!" one, and I thought my eyeballs were going to bleed. I was all "WTF did you do to my turtles?!?!?!". Then again, I had a similar reaction to all the new "xtreme!!" versions, from Fantastic Four to Spiderman. The old ones actually had something worthwhile to them, whether it was an underlying message or just situations in them that made you think about it more once it was over.

original Turtles cartoon >600 million new version :p Wai.

Heh - at least it mens I don't have to get up early on Saturdays anymore! (Though I'm still trying to convince dad to get Boomerang. The original Johnny Quest friggin' PWNs!)

With the "extreme" one, do you mean Fast Forward? Because there I agree, that was pretty forgettable for the most part with few exceptions (DNA is Thicker Than Water was a decent episode).

Otherwise, the new cartoon is keeping pretty close to the original comic, with inserting new original story lines. And let's be fair, the old cartoon was far from prefect, especially season 8 to 10 with the mutating turtles, Carter and Dregg.
