Music of the 90s

Apr 15, 2007 20:39

Yesterday I went through all my singles and tranfered them to my HD. And jeez, did I listen to much crap back then or what. Charlie Lownoise & Mental Theo? E-Rotic? What was I thinking? I even own not only the Garfield - Cool Cat single, I even have the whole album.

Here is the video, for those who want to know what I'm talking about.

:-)) E-rotic? *giggles* God, they were bad. Max don't have sex with your ex, right?

I used to listen to 2 Unlimited and Ace of Base when I was at school, so you're not the only one.

Yup, that's them. I have three singles and both albums from them. And both Lucilectric albums. And the two albums from Tic Tac Toe. *hangs head in shame*

I still have both 2 Unlimited albums. ;-)

Well, Tic Tac Toe weren't that bad. Completely talentless and stupid, yes, but still different.

I have to go through my music collection at home and see what else except 2 Unlimited I have. I used to listen to Mariah Carey most back then, as far as I remember.

Their press conference that ended with them splitting up was classic.

Heh. I never had Garfield (although we owned all the vids), but I did own 'Do the Bartman', embarrassingly enough.

I hardly saw the "Do the Bartman" video, but I do have the album The Simpsons sing the Blues with that song on it.

Oh god, music from the 90s. I cringe when I think about the stuff I used to listen back then. I used to buy tons of CDs when I was a teenager, so now I own dozens of embarrassingly bad CDs no sane person could possibly listen to.

So do I, but I simply can't bring myself to throw them away or sell them (not like anyone would buy them).
