Numb. It was the best way to describe how Teyla was feeling. How she was allowing herself to feel. There was anger and frustration brewing beneath the surface; but she could not let that out, for fear it would become uncontrollable.
She did not remember if she had locked the Psychology office, only that she had left it. The way to New Atlantis was automatic for her, and this day she allowed her feet to carry her there, ignoring Evel as he whined and nipped at her heels.
John's door pulled shut, she knocked against the heavy fabric, not waiting for his answer but instead pushing it aside. If there were ever a time that she needed her closest friend, it was now. Just what she would say to him, she did not know.
