Sherlock just couldn't bear the thought of a whole weekend without Lestrade.
Fingers itching to open the file on Anderson to see what Sherlock wrote.

"It is well known that Anderson has changed the face of modern forensic science. Unfortunately for the worse, but I suppose you can’t have everything.
It is less well known that he has also made an impact on the English language. For now if someone is deeply and completely incompetent to the point where it verges on criminal stupidity we will merely call that person an ‘anderson’.
Sherlock would like me to tell you that Lestrade coming over was an unavoidable side effect not at all a desired outcome. John says Sherlock is a lying liar who lies.

Oh that is priceless.
I'm imagining Lestrade pausing over that one with warring emotions before grimacing and forcing Sherlock to delete it. And swearing aloud that he will not replace it with his own words until Sherlock is very very far away.
Sherlock would be more convincing in his lies if he weren't so happy to be insulting Lestrade and laughing at him. Says the mom who sometimes exists just for The Maw to yell at. Good thing Lestrade knows all about how kids only throw tantrums around people who make them feel safe.
