This is gorgeous. While overall I did not like Out of the Rain, I loved the interaction between Jack and Ianto in the episode . . . especially the boardroom and office scenes. The quiet respect and concern they show for each other is communicated so well here.

As one of the people who didn't much like this episode (I tend to mentally replace Sam's version) I do love what you did with the concept. I can completely see Ianto doing something like this.

I haven't found enough post-FOOTR fic yet in this fandom. It's obvious it really shakes Ianto up from the episode, and the Captain's Blog confirms it, but there just don't seem to be many stories out there written about why and how it affects him.

I find it fascinating that Ianto would actively seek the Electro's destruction, both to prevent it being converted and to purge the emotional ties of both his distant past and the recent case. I love the banter, and I love Jack's gentle support. Great work.
