Thank you for showing an interest in ‘Owning Problem Humans’. We are a support group than has been around for several years now. Humans, as you are no doubt aware are very challenging to keep. Here at OPH we like to think that the rewards far outweigh the problems, but I’ll admit that it is never an easy road. I recently nearly lost my human to a broken heart (a common affliction with humans). It was a very trying time, the support of my fellow OPH members was invaluable.

I can see from your letter that you have had a very difficult time with your human over the years. Be assured that the urge to bite him is completely normal and understandable. Trust me, we’ve all been there!

Thank you for rescuing Ace. She would like me to point out that she had everything under control and didn’t need rescuing. Although she admits that you may have helped, a bit. She insists on referring to you as ‘Captain Bogbreath’. I chose to believe that she means that as a term of endearment.

You are a very unique person Captain. It’s almost like you’re a fixed point in time. That’s amazing, if a little… disconcerting. Hopefully we can meet again one day.

Hi,

We had to take your ship. I’m really sorry about that. We’ll bring it back, good as new. In fact, once Ianto’s finished cleaning probably better than new.

It really is a matter of saving the universe, you probably don’t believe me but really it is. Two universes in fact.

She is a gorgeous ship. And I’m not just saying that. She’s tough but beautiful, and the engine runs like a dream. My compliments to your mechanic.

We’ll bring her back. Two days, a week at the most. I am really sorry.
