Dude, I did not realise they were making this again.

I'd buy a bulk case except A. I don't have enough money to spend large portions of money right now B. I don't particularly have a current need for them >X(

yay, contraception

Wouldn't the pill be easier to deal with and more effective?

I'm just randomly popping in because this post intrigued me. :P

The pill would probably be slightly more effective, but this doesn't have the hormones. Some people just react badly to the hormones causing all kinds of problems. I'm a little nervous about going on the pill because of it. :P My body's screwed up enough. Plus, you can use it when you feel like it, instead of having to commit to long-term usage of the pill or some other hormonal alternative. Seems like a plus to me.

Anyhoo! These seem awesome. I'm going to have to buy or order some sometime to try 'em out.

Yup, I'm wary of the pill of those reasons too.

If you ever try some out, make sure to mention it in a LJ post XP

Belated response (been without internet), but: More effective, sure. For me, it wouldn't be easier, for the reasons Arquel mentioned below. Plus, I'm a horrible pill-taker, both in that I never can remember to do so and that even thinking about it almost triggers my gag reflex.

I'd imagine the sponge could be used in conjunction with the guy using a condom during the statistically more fertile times and that would pretty well cover the effectiveness issue.
