I've finally seen Prisoner of Azkaban, and I must say, thus far, it's my favourite of the movies. The acting has improved immensely (not that it was bad before, necessarily, but the child actors are growing up and a bit less wooden than they were to start with); there's a change of director, which makes a difference in the way some of it's ( Read more... )

I'd have to agree with you. It bothered me a lot with the street clothes, especially since in the books wizards don't understand how muggles dress, and that's a pretty big deal, and funny too. :P

YES! I'd forgotten about that, even. And though it seems to be mostly adult wizards who behave this way, why wouldn't kids in all-wizard families, like the Weasleys, do the same?

It just irks me.

And then it occurred to me that Ms. Rowling was involved in the making of the movies (as I understand it), and I wonder if she had any input into that part of things, or if it bothered her as well? Or was she quite busy writing OotP and/or HBP at the time?
