Yesterday morning, I read about this on manhattan's journal. It's astonishing what the response has been.

Long story short: One of city_glitter's cats got out night before last, and someone set it ON FIRE, for "fun". The cat's okay, but the vet bills were astronomical, and she's none too happy about any of it. Understandably

This is friggin' SICK! I guess I have buried my head in the sand and cannot see that there are creeps out there who really get off on such cruelty. I understand a lot -- but not this. I am so glad that she had help for vet bills, and that someone was there to rescue the sweet kitty.

BTW -- when I get my computer back, I'm going to go back and read all your kitty posts. I can't wait to read your daily "mewsings" on having a new kitten! I have trouble linking to the cut (computer will only do it part of the time, and if not, it freezes up, and/or knocks me offline. I think it's memory issues, though there's more I suspect. This machine is clearly sicker than the one I'm repairing!)
