Your nothing but git!

To quote Hermione Granger in this story: "Ronald Weasley are git."

Are you SURE this isn't a cash-in on My Immortal, szaleniec?

Which makes this fic a slight improvement on The Last War.

And a huge step-up from Hogwarts Exposed.

Now this fic is ALMOST as inane and unintelligent as Twilight!

Is the country song supposed to be revenge or something? Because I'm not sure what the rest of Hogwarts did to deserve this- the only people I've ever known who enjoy country are Southerners.

As a southerner who loves country, ouch. XD That said, I am highly skeptical about Carrie Underwood being a country musician, even when my local radio station insists she is.

I'm just surprised at how many of the Hogwarts students even know Undo It, considering that according to Wikipedia it wasn't released as a single in the UK and the album it's from reached the dizzying heights of number 93 (ninety-three) in the charts. I know I'd never heard it before, and only vaguely heard of Carrie Underwood herself.

And this is leaving aside the anachronism, of course!

Country music is a traditionally white male-dominated genre, which means that it's pretty tough for women to make much of an inroads -- and, I personally suspect, that a) a lot of women with talent probably look elsewhere to be heard, b) that women who are mediocre are highly publicised anyway because "LOOK IT'S A LADY DOING COUNTRY MUSIC", and c) because there are a lot of very talented white men the mediocre women look more mediocre by comparison (that said, there are lots of talented women in country, like Reba McEntire and Miranda Lambert -- that also said, those women are older and I think they have been in the genre so long that they have more leeway to do what they want, and not just write generic relationship songs I am looking at YOU Taylor Swift). I only know of one black country musician, and I think he has the same problem -- he's not that great, but I suspect that most talented black musicians are hanging out in fields where they're more appreciated/noticed ( ... )
