When I'm already saying "I hate this fic" to the first line

Please, I was already saying "I hate this fic" before I even began READING THE UPDATE!

See, it's funny because they've not realised that the place the nudist sisters went with their nudist parents is a nudist resort!

And it's also funny because Harry and Hermione are so thick as to not bother doing any research on this nudist resort and instead rely entirely on the word of their little clutch of bints about going to it!

I know mystery tours are a thing, but they don't tend to involve trusting one's summer holiday to one's children. For several very good reasons! And yes, he still fails characterisation because Hermione, if she didn't already know the significance of Cap d'Agde ( like Amanda did in her first year) or suspect it, she'd look it up.

"they don't tend to involve trusting one's summer holiday to one's children"

No kidding, especially when one's children have proven time and time again to be deceptive little brats who (A) do whatever they please because they know Mommy and Daddy will let them get away with it and (B) have remarkably bad judgment on situations, coupled it the Mary Sue trait of never actually LEARNING and thus failing to keep said situations from happening again.

Your wife asked me the identical question the other day.

Correct me if I'm wrong, szaleniec, but I'm pretty sure that word does not belong in that sentence...

Good catch. "An identical question" would fit, albeit clumsily, but "the identical question" doesn't make sense.

Congratulations. This is the most succinct failure of the Bechdel test I've ever seen. And the only time I'm likely to use the word "succinct" in relation to this fic.

Not to mention the whole thing about Harry putting on a "happy face" when going to greet three underage and naked girls in the context of this fic carrying very unfortunate implications.

I honestly feel bad for Harry at this part. He's trying to NOT grope the kids and his wife is all "Come on hon! Just a little groping on the kids who were abused?"

Just when he seems to be recognising he's got a problem (too little too late, but still) he gets told he's perfectly fine.
