Of course, it's not just the South -- have you looked at what's happening in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Ohio? I mean, Wisconsin? They've gone insane up there. And Minnesota keeps re-electing that nutburger Michelle Bachman. *shudder* (The only woman in politics who is less connected to reality than Sarah Palin -- Michelle Bachman. And more dangerous because Sarah really just wants a media career and Michelle wants to Rule the World. *shudders*)
But, still -- this was terrific news about New York. Those four Republicans have got guts, I have to say. 'Cause you know the Tea Partiers are gonna be out to get 'em over this vote.
Oh, we are well aware of what is going on in Wisconsin and everywhere else. My husband has been a union electrician for 25 years, so all of this anti-union stuff is scary. I also worked in an elementary school for several years, and what they are doing to teachers is criminal. Not to mention cops and firefighters. I really hope all of these republicans get their asses handed to them in the next election. They all need to go and so do the democrats who voted with them. And Michelle Bachman is just batshit crazy
