Holy wow! So glad you were ok! The way people drive really REALLY irks me. People grow up around cars and driving and seem to have no appreciation for the lethal capacity of the giant metal deathboxes they sending careening down the road at 28 over the speed limit weaving all over the road so that they can cut 2 inches in front of people in traffic... *pant pant*.
Sorry. It is bothersome, and if you'd been hurt it'd have been more bothersome still. :( *hugs*
People get killed on BYU-I campus every year because the drivers and pedestrians alike are totally crazy. The student pedestrians walk right onto the street not even at crosswalks half the time, talking on cell phones and not even bothering to look, just assuming anyone coming will stop. And student drivers go WAY too fast for conditions, especially when the snow hits and all the people from California and Texas realize they don't actually know how to drive on snow.
Yes, people take the lethality of cars far too much for granted. Oh for a life where I never need participate in such insanity! It IS bothersome, you don't need to be sorry. Yeah, it's amazing how people think they shouldn't have to slow for snow. It's stupid.
