It's important to fuse your vision with the reality of what you're doing. Given that you want to live in a communal environment, you're going to have to allow ideas outside of your own to work within what you have planned.
I am constantly thinking about myself in relation to the world around me, and always thinking of change. Some change is universally positive, such as getting healthier or taking care with your appearance. Other changes are harder, like your attitude, willingness to cooperate, acceptance of those who aren't exactly on the same wavelength. Since I've started to feel more concrete about my own viewpoints lately, I've come to realize that I am in the minority of my age group, politically/socially.
It seems that you have a good idea of how you want to live. Now you need to figure out how you're going to get people on board, and that's probably going to take equal measures luck and compromise.
