Still alive. Quit/got fired from activist fundraiser job. Apparently I wasn't making them enough money. Oh well. I thought they were being dumb about their strategy anyway. Daniel got hired by Starbucks and has just finished his first week there. I got hired by a local (in Holbrook) restaurant called Smith's. I do take-out. It's kinda crappy, only ( Read more... )

library card! free, easy! in boston tied to the MIT library (i think) so virtually infinite.

yeah, didn't want to say it because you sounded hopeful and all, and i thought it'd be wrong to piss on your rainbow, but that organization has a pretty unflattering reputation. works for some folks, but gets lots of bad reviews from the activist crowd. good luck on the job hunting.

When you know something's like that, would you tell me in the future? I'd rather have some good advice and not waste my time and energies on something that isn't really all that good.

Tricky part with a library card... you have to prove residency, a thing I'm working on.

well, you know, just heard second hand and you already had the job before i knew it was an issue. wasn't sure if you'd want the gossip.and actually if you can get a letter mailed to you at whatever address you're at they'll normally take that. maybe boston is stricter? good luck with all of it.

Thanks for all the tips and advice. I didn't realize that craigslist had a western MA section. Daniel and I are now pondering moving to Amherst area sooner. I'd like to talk to you about it a little more tho. Left you a couple of phone messages.
