Sometimes we start on a path with no clear idea where the end is; just a gut feeling that there is something more out there. For as long as I remembered all I wanted was a New York City apartment and a life that meant something more. Well, here I am- living in the East Village, going to law school, trying to change the world. You know how they say

haha, I'm sorry-- I feel like I haven't had time to breathe since I got here, let alone think. Yeah- we should have lunch or something sometime?! Let me know how your schedule goes- I have class M-F but I'm out really early MWF- and F is the only night I let myself go 'out' (trying to be the responsible student and all..) I did think about telling you though- I have just, in the true style of a procrastinator, kept putting it off for the time when I could sit and write...yeah, you see how fast that happened.

happy birthday amie...i is a day early for you, but it is the 21st for me. i would love my ship to come to your port of call, but i am on a west coast ship and there is no reason for it to visit manhattan. if i get stationed on an east coast ship, then there is a chance. lol. anyway happy early birthday again! love ya girlie!
