OK. I'm starting up a new project. Whether it will be continued depends on your response. Let me state the main concept.
CUE file (or cue sheet) is a text file that details the layout of tracks on a compact disc.
Why CUE files are cool? Because you can use them for your mixtapes! If you have one for your mixtape you can always know which track is playing now on the mix. To see individual tracks in the mix you need to have a cue-capable player, or you can try to find a plugin for your favourite player on the internet. For example you can use CUE-Player for Winamp. I prefer to use Foobar player. It supports CUE files by default and is pretty customizable. After you put your mixtape and CUE file in one folder you get picture like this.
