Thanks! I'm glad it's meshing well with canon, because I want it to really feel like a road not taken (or available?) instead of totally off the path in fan fic realm.

The mixture of horse/rider and rider/horse personalities conflicting with their setting here is sooo intriguing. I love it.

I'm glad you like it! I was getting itchy to write something immediately, and my next big original project is still in sketch/barely formed outline form, so fan fic was my best option.

The Thoroughbred series was my guilty reading pleasure growing up. Long after I was way too old to be buying the books, I did. Your stories are just as addictive.

Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying the fic as much as the actual books. Brad Townsend winds up taking over most of my stories, because he's just the most awesome unfairly evil character ever. I'm glad he somehow became the most popular character in fandom. It must be karma. ;)
