Very nicely done, I especially like how this story forces Jim to face the many ways he tries to distance himself from others - it's a part of his character that doesn't get much play in fandom, but Bones' accident and One's particular brand of empathy are big steps towards the healing he (and we *g*) need. Thanks for sharing :)
