These are really moody, but quite wonderfully so. I think Spock's Bendii syndrome was the strongest of the lot, the way the reader is seduced into agreeing that Spock is this wildly exceptional being and then gets smacked again with the possibility that he is, in fact, delusional. *sniffles*
The melancholy moment between Spock and McCoy was beautiful too, and I love Pike's anger in this last one. These all just ring really true for the characters you're dealing with. As usual. *envious sigh* :)
Aww, the Spock/McCoy one was so tender and the Pike ones both fitting and enjoyable. My absolute favourite and one that's going into my bookmarks, though, is the Spock Prime story. Woah. Packs a punch. I had a bad hunch by the second sentence and knew something was very, very seriously wrong with him by the third and the rest of it was so intense and painful and real to what (I assume) it'd be like for someone to become delusional and the bad thing is, while it's not what one hopes for, it is terrifyingly believable after what we saw in ST:XI. This seriously left me reeling even on re-read. Woah. I need a good workout now. ;-) Thank you for sharing this!
I thought you'd like the Spock Prime one! The man really grew on me - it's TOS Spock but with a severe twist, darker and more broken. A damn interesting but also very dangerous man.
And AFAIS I'll make good use of him in the future.
I'm planning to be around for most of it. But you never know what comes up. This past week I was at the airport picking up hubby and since I hadn't seen him all week, didn't get back on the computer until much later that evening.

Loved hearing Spock's thoughts and even though I was agreeing with him, I guess it really was the Bendii syndrome talking. *sigh*
Spock, McCoy was sad. I really, really hate to think of McCoy as grown old and ultimately leaving Spock alone.
Love your Pike, as always. Felt his frustration and anger in the last one keenly.

Still, seems like I missed some good prompts.
