I think most of us have seen the aerial photo overlays on Google Maps. Have you tried bing? It gives an angled "bird's-eye" view, closer than Google's, and lets you rotate (and zoom, a little). Very interesting. It looks as though the picture of one side of my house was taken at the start of our construction, a bit over a year ago.

BTW, fix your link. You are missing the protocol and it is being picked up as a relative URL.
