There usually is one during this time, so I thought it might be one. But it's really different this time. [Then again, he probably says that every time they have an experiment.]
[Can one such as Kaito smell? Would the smell of apple pie being a familiar one to him? It wouldn't matter either way, for such a pie as delicious this will make its presence known just by being-- and being it is! Right near Kaito, actually.
There, in all the apple pie, it sits on a table in a tin, also accompanied by a plate, which in turn has beside it a knife and fork. On the plate sits an envelope.
It doesn't matter if there was a table there before, for it is there now. Oh, Kaito! Whatever shall you do?]
[Whatever shall he do indeed! For a random table has suddenly appeared next to him, along with an appetizing apple pie. Part of him wonders if this is Luka's doing, until he realizes that their table is not near the window like he is.
...after a small freak out over the table, he notices the envelope. Since it's here he might as well open it, right? He does so!]
[Oh, what a thing to think to do, Kaito! Indeed, that envelope was made for opening, for holding something inside! And inside that envelope is a small letter, which reads the following:
'This may be as odd as everything else going on today, but it's fine. No catches! Enjoy the pie!'
No name follows, and so that is the end of the message.]
[Such a message, such a message this was! No name, no identity, and no familiar handwriting! And yet, the warmth and kindness from the sender is clear as a summer's day. What the hell am I writing. KAITO, as cautious of a Vocaloid as he is, puts the letter down next to the pie.
He watches it, debating. Oh, what a debate. But glancing at the letter a second time convinces him to make the easy decision -- to go ahead and enjoy such a delicious looking baked good! He takes the knife and fork and proceeds to begin slicing.]

[Now that he thinks about it:] Are you a new person, too?

Without wings? Maybe someone forgot to give it to them?
